The public is invited to come out and meet the artists and representatives from the Land Trust. During the event wine, beer, and hor d’oeuvres will be served. The artists will donate 30% of all sales to the Land Trust of the Upper Arkansas from the event.
The money raised during the evening will go towards land protection activities of the Land Trust. The Land Trust is working with landowners and other organizations to maintain ranching and farming in the Upper Arkansas Valley, protect important wildlife habitat, keep the breathtaking views we all cherish, and preserve our historical heritage. The Land Trust of the Upper Arkansas’s Executive Director, Andrew Mackie, states that “Joshua Been and the other artists supporting the Land Trust realize how important it is to create a balance between development and land protection in our Valley. It is easy to see how art and nature go hand in hand; I hope the community will come visit us on December 5th to support the Land Trust and the artists.”
